This notice covers visits to bearingkind.com. Each app has its own privacy policy, linked from the app's section of this site where the app has one. The analytics described here run only on this website.
Who we are

What a visit sends
When a page loads, and each time you move to another app's page, your browser sends a page view to PostHog, the analytics service we use. A page view holds the page address and title, the page you came from, how long you stayed on the previous page of this site, your browser with its version and language, your operating system, the type of device, your time zone, and the sizes of your screen and browser window.
When the page first loads, your browser also asks PostHog for the site's analytics settings. Like any request, it reaches PostHog with your IP address and your browser's ordinary request details.
PostHog counts visitors without cookies. Its server combines your IP address and browser details with a value that changes every day, and keeps only the resulting code, so the same visitor gets a new code the next day. We have set PostHog to discard IP addresses, so it does not store yours with the page views.
This site sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. It does not record what you click or type, builds no profile of you, shows no advertising, and does not follow you to other sites.
Who handles it
PostHog Inc. processes page views on our instructions, in its European Union cloud in Frankfurt. Its own policy is at posthog.com/privacy.
Amazon Web Services (S3 and CloudFront) delivers the pages and handles request details such as your IP address while serving them. We keep no access logs, so none of those details reach us.
Why, and for how long
We use page views to see how many people visit and which apps they look at. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in knowing that (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
PostHog keeps page views for one year, the retention period of our plan.
Your rights
If you are in the EU, the UK, or another place with similar law, you can ask us for access to, correction, deletion or restriction of personal data about you, and you can object to its use. Write to support@bearingkind.com. A content blocker that blocks PostHog also stops page views from your browser.
Page views carry no name and no lasting identifier, so we usually cannot tell which ones are yours. You can also complain to the data protection authority where you live.
